  1. OR changing the way you THINK can change the way you LOOK!!!

    Just sayin...

  2. You mean instead of negotiating all of these fashion mines the solution is to lose the weight and then wear what you want without fear? What an incredible idea! I could buy a whole new wardrobe. But then of course I'd have to keep the weight off. And that's turned into a challenge all its own. But worth it.

  3. Oh Jack, I love this.

    It is so true.

I realised that instead of fretting my arse off and constantly worrying "does my bum look big in this?" that I should just deal with it.....and dealing with it takes less energy than worrying about NOT dealing with it......

  4. It takes a lot to get me to laugh early in the morning but the "maybe being overweight makes you look overweight" card made me lose it. ;)

  5. A simple message transmitted in a witty manner....

Jack - when you take these pix, I've always wondered what the heck are you looking at to your left? You seem to be pretending it's a window....

  8. Jack Sh*t knows a lot of true sh*t! Saying that, I still think I need What Not to Wear. I am fashion clueless!

  9. I never forget my husband overhearing a girl saying to her friend "does this dress make me look fat?" He whispered to me "no, her fat makes her look fat"

I always love your wordless posts Jack, they're my favourites :)

  22. I'm going to keep reading these types of posts very carefully, as they have wardrobe changes. And with wardrobe changes, can wardrobe malfunctions be far behind...??

  23. The prision will be happy to know you aren't posing like the rest of society anymore now that you are doing the horizontal stripes again. :)

  24. I love that you changed into a striped shirt.

  25. Genius! It's so funny to see women who are self conscious about their weight change their outfit 10 times before they leave the house because because "this one makes her look fat." Sometimes I want to tell them "Your clothes don't make you look fat. You're going to look fat no matter what you wear." But I'm afraid that's a little TOO much tough love...

  30. Agreed Brother Jack. I am an Active Sister in the Faternity. Working on making changes so that I can do all of the above if I want to (I just probably STILL won't want to. Horizontal stripes = *shudder* for me. It's deeply ingrained).
